Online Application: When applying for a tutoring position, you will be prompted to complete the online profile. Submission of a resume or CV, transcripts, and standardized test scores are required when completing the online application. All applicants will be screened by The Leading Brains’ experienced staffing team.
Online Assessment: After you have submitted your application, you will be asked to complete an online assessment. This will be a timed test, covering three sections: verbal skills, numerical skills, and abstract reasoning. There are 17 questions total and you will have 25 minutes to complete this section.
The Interview:Applicants whose background meets the job requirements will be asked to attend their first interview via video call. Don’t forget to ask questions. This is a chance for you to learn about The Leading Brains and for us to get to know you better. Please expect this interview will take about 15 – 20 minutes.
Virtual Assessment: This is the last stage of assessment. In this assessment, you will be given a live online case study. Through this process, The Leading Brains determine the applicants’ true handle on the subject material, teaching style, communication skill, and the ability to relate and think on their feet. On the day of your assessment, you will be assigned several problems relating to the subject(s) that you are applying for, with 5 – 10 minutes for preparation. A simulated tutoring session will be conducted afterwards. In total, this assessment will take approximately 45 minutes.
Thorough Background Checks:If The Leading Brains feels that you have met our expectations for the position, a formal offer of employment will be made. You will receive hiring forms with formal requests for background screening. Failure to complete the background check may result in your job offer being revoked.
